Is the Retreat Duffle fabric water-resistant?

Yes, the exterior resists light splashes and moisture — great for protecting contents during transit or unpredictable weather.

Do GLASARI bags have RFID protection?

Absolutely. All out bags have Radio Frequency Identification pockets. This technology stops thieves with "skimming" devices from wirelessly stealing your card or passport info.

How do I clean the bags?

Simply wipe with a damp cloth. The materials resist staining and are quick-drying. The GLASARI Compressi-Cubes can be washed in the washing machine, once placed in a wash bag and on gentle cycle.

How should I store my bag between trips?

Store it flat in the dust cover provided (which doubles as a laundry bag), and keep it clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight.

Can the retreat duffle be used as a carry-on?

Yes, The Retreat Duffle measures 55cm (L) x 34cm (H) x 31cm (W). Most airlines list the maximum carry-on size as around 56cm x 36cm x 23cm. When packed sensibly, the duffle fits into standard airline carry-on sizers — I’ve personally tested it in airport frames without issue. If over-stuffed, the width may exceed some airline limits, so we recommend packing thoughtfully for guaranteed carry-on approval.

How many cubes are included in The Compressi-Cubes?

Our standard Compressi-Cube set includes three cubes — small, medium, and large — perfect for keeping your suitcase organised. Watch this space: later this year we’ll also be releasing an expanded set with larger sizes for even more packing flexibility.

Is the Retreat Duffle suitable for both travel and everyday use?

Yes — the Retreat Duffle is designed to work in multiple ways. It unfolds into a garment section to keep clothes flat and crease-free, includes a trolley sleeve that slides securely over suitcase handles for airport travel, and doubles as a versatile everyday or gym bag when you’re not away.

Combined with strong hardware and quality zips, these materials are chosen to balance style, sustainability, and long-lasting performance.

Do GLASARI bags come with a warranty?

Yes. Every GLASARI bag comes with a 12-month warranty covering any manufacturing defects. We stand by the quality and durability of our products, and want you to travel with peace of mind.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship, such as stitching issues, hardware faults, or problems with the bag’s structure. It doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse.

How do we make a warranty claim?

Simply email support@glasari.com with your order details, a description of the issue, and supporting photos. Our team will review your claim promptly and let you know the next steps.

returns & exchanges

What's your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your bag, simply contact our team and we’ll guide you through the return process.

Can I swap a bag for a different colour?

Yes — we want you to be completely happy with your choice. If the colour you’d prefer is in stock, we’ll happily arrange an exchange. If it isn’t available, we can offer you store credit or a refund.

What if I change my mind after purchase?

That’s no problem. Buying online can be tricky, so we allow “change of mind” returns within 30 days, provided the item hasn’t been used. You can exchange it for another colour, opt for store credit, or receive a refund.
